RAMCOA Resources
Providing resources, truth, and insight into one of the most insidious and misunderstood forms of abuse. The other carrd got silenced. I will not silence this one. It is extremely important for these resources to be available because that is exactly what perpetuators do not want.If you believe you have RAMCOA trauma, please proceed with extreme caution and mind your mental state.
What is RAMCOA?
RAMCOA is an acronym that stands for "Ritual Abuse, Mind Control, and Organized Abuse." While victims of these types of abuse have varied experiences, there are several common threads that allow for their specific type of trauma to be classified as falling underneath the RAMCOA umbrella.
The accounts that fall under this umbrella describe a specific type of repeated, systematic abuse, beginning in childhood. This abuse is often transgenerational or extra-familial.
Programming is also a common thread among RAMCOA survivors. Programming refers to both the method and the result of teaching the mind unquestioned obedience. Programming is often triggered/activated by specific words, phrases, signals, or events. The dissociation and amnesia that is experienced between alters of a DID system help keep the programming secret from everyone except the abusers and (sometimes, not always) the alter who has it. Since programming relies heavily on the creation of alters for specific purposes, it is accompanied by severely traumatic experiences to both cause an alter to split, and to teach that alter the program that the abuser is attempting to instill. Some examples of these methods include, but are not limited to, extreme pain, hypnosis/trance, torture, sexual abuse, drugs, deprivation of basic necessities (sleep, food, water), loud noises, extreme temperatures, and strobing lights.
Polyfragmentation is common in systems who have experienced this sort of abuse, as are more complex dissociative structures. For example, subsystems, detailed headspaces, and headspace layers are more common in RAMCOA victims due to the severity of both the abuse and the dissociative barriers it causes.
The purpose of this site is to provide resources for RAMCOA survivors and their loved ones, and to educate those who are unaware. The majority of resources are either not very in-depth, or are written by bigots and conspiracy theorists with heavy involvement in far-right circles. This website cites reliable sources written by mental health professionals, as well as the experiences of actual survivors, and puts all of this information in one place to make research easier.
Programming Types
Programming serves a plethora of different purposes within the context of RAMCOA. Programming can be used to create alters with certain traits, instill a kill
switch into a victim in the case they escape, change the physical and emotional capabilities of the victim (ignoring pain, being unable to cry), and even to instill the compulsion to program others. However, this does not nearly cover all the bases when it comes to the different varieties of programming and its effects. This page covers several different programming types and methods.Alpha: The base that is a prerequisite for all other types of programming. Alpha programming instills complete alignment with the agenda of the programmer(s). The goal of this type of programming is to create the framework of blank slate alters. These alters can then be made to do anything if the person giving the orders has the proper insight into the programming triggers of the victims.
Amnesiac: A program that, when triggered, will make the subject simply forget. May be associated with an alter who is the "amnesiac" and will front when they are meant to forget things. Can also be used as a form of therapy intervention to make the subject forget their trauma or what they were attempting to share.
Bells of Death: A subject is trained to respond with Violence (Delta), Self-Destruction (Omega), and/or Suicidal actions to a pattern of Chimes or Beeps, primarily of Bells. Subjects will most likely be told that the specific pattern and/or pitch of the tone represents Death or The End Times. It is commonly paired with Theta or religious programs as a “Call of the Horsemen” or “God’s Will”.
Beta: Sexual programming. This can range from the creation of alters who adhere to rigid gender stereotypes to alters who are more geared towards the porn industry. Beta programming can also be combined with Epsilon programming, which is commonly found in "kitten programming." Sexual torture is often a method of instilling this programming, the purpose of which is to eliminate inhibitions or a desire for comfort/pleasure during sexual encounters.
Card: A form of programming in which alters are organized by cards. Most commonly playing cards. The suit, color, and face will determine its meaning. For instance, an ace of hearts will not mean the same thing as an ace of spades. May be used as a ranking system alongside organizational purposes. Varies from group to group.
Chi / Callback: Programming that makes the victim feel the need to go back to or report to the abusive group. This programming is incredibly common, oftentimes programmed into most, if not all alters. It creates dependency on the group. This type of programming often goes hand-in-hand with programming that makes the victim believe that they're going insane, or that they are "broken" and must be "fixed" by the group.
Delta: Violence programming. This programming is used to create alters for the purpose of assassinations, killings, and other similar tasks. These alters are created specifically to operate well within the military/police or similar environments. Alters with Delta programming are trained to attack without inhibition, remorse, or fear.
Dice: Programming in which alters are organized by die or sides thereof. Similar to Card or Number, it is used for organization and sometimes rank. Different types of die and different sides of those die will represent different things depending on the group.
Duality:
Epsilon: Non-human/dehumanization programming. Alters created by this type of programming take on the characteristics and mannerisms of the animal their programmers have decided. Epsilon programming exists for almost every common animal. Dogs and cats are common choices, but other animals can be included in this type of programming as well. Alters with Epsilon programming who are programmed to be the same animal can also have drastically different roles (i.e. lap dog programming vs. attack dog programming).
Eta: Programming that enforces the idea that the abuse will never end, the group/its programming will never be broken down, and so on so forth. Typically tied into callback.
Flower: Organizational programming that uses flowers to assert certain roles.
Gamma: Programming to be loyal to the group, to an incredible degree. This can be loyal religious devotees, alters with "family ties", or those with extreme loyalty of any form. Many forms of Suicide programming fall into this category.
Gemstone: Organizational programming used to assert certain roles. Typically used alongside Jewel programming, or with physical gemstones as rewards for certain acts.
Iota: Broad term for isolation related programs. Examples include self isolating omega, parts that are locked up in "wards" in the inner world away from the rest of the system, parts hidden off from the rest of the system, subjects trained to stay in hiding for the entirety of their lives, and more.
Jewel: Organizational programming used to assert certain roles.
Kaleidoscope: Subset of spin and scramble combined. Subject is placed in a room full of bright, colorful lights that will spin around them rapidly until the subject becomes confused and forgets their surroundings. This process is repeated several times whenever needed, and often implemented into the subject's inner world. Kaleidoscope programming is triggered as a distraction whenever subject becomes aware of / sees something they are not supposed to.
Lantern: Tied into theta. Lanterns are lit up around the inner world as a means of guiding the parts "Towards the light". Parts with lantern are warned if they stray off into the darkness they will suffer endlessly. Areas without lanterns often contain structures / layers the handlers do not want the part to be aware of. Different parts may have different colored lantern paths to follow.
Last Dawn: Only used by groups that believe in a set end of the world. Subjects are told each and every day that the world will end when it meets next dawn. When the spoken of time arrives, amnesia programming will be triggered, and another part will be brought out and taught the same thing. Ties into eta, theta, and betrayal programming, and is used to confuse parts and make them not trust one another for the fear that part is lying.
Metal: Organizational program used to assert certain roles.
Military: A type of programming that promotes the idea that "only the strong survive." Victims are put under incredibly physically strenuous conditions, such as malnutrition, dehydration, and a lack of sleep. At first, their success is rewarded, but as time goes on those rewards are halted, and asking for them warrants punishment. After that "training", the victims are pitted against another group of victims who underwent the same process and are forced to fight one another. This was done to desensitize the victims to killing. Alters in military programming are assigned military ranks, and are expected to act accordingly (including having an elevated level of respect for those with higher ranks).
Monarch: Originally in reference to Project Monarch, a CIA attempt at mind control, it has evolved to refer to any sort of government or government-affiliated programming.
Narco: Programming that makes the subject extremely lethargic and have great difficulty keeping awake. Most often results in them falling asleep. It is used most often to transport the subject without them having knowledge of location.
Omega: Self-Destruct programming, this creates the urge to self harm or commit suicide should it be triggered. Normally used as an emergency "brake" in programming, or as a way to ensure the victim never tells group secrets.
Prince/Princess:
Routine: Often used in accompany to scripts. Subject is given a certain action they must fulfill once per a limited period of time. If subject fails to complete this task, near-death zeta will kick in. Subject is made to believe this task is crucial and important to their identity and life, and if they break their routine they will be greatly punished.
Scramble: Scramble is a program that, most often, causes the subject to have great difficulty comprehending and formulating words or sentences. It is made to stop the individual from telling people about things (especially as a form of therapy intervention) or to make them doubt reality.
Script: Programming that follows a certain media or story, normally incorporating characters and events in the story into the programming. It will be used to map out the system, alters/alter roles, access codes/triggers, and so on so forth. This can be done with any media available at the time, including but not limited to things the victim takes comfort in, as a way to make such a media unsafe to consume or enjoy. Alice In Wonderland and Wizard of Oz are two extremely common scripts recorded in survivors.
Sedation: When triggered, subject will fall into a much more calm, barely conscious state, as if they've been sedated. This program takes a while to be inserted properly but is useful for subjects who are prone to violence and/or need to move districts often, as it causes the subject to calm down naturally without the usage of actual sedatives.
Sigma: A broad term for any kind of wilderness/outdoor survival training. May be paired with iota and/or military.
Silence/Shutdown/NV: A small collection of programs most often associated with one another, they are used as a form of therapy intervention. Silence/NV causes the subject to become unable to speak or, in some situations, unable to form or comprehend language. Shutdown causes the subject to "shutdown" entirely, often being unable to move, speak, clearly think, et cetera.
Spider in the Web: A part, often an internal handler, is placed in the center of a "web" in the inner world. They are assigned to guard this web, and make sure nobody goes in or out of the web without the subject's handler's permission. When this program is triggered, the "spider" will go out on a hunt and retrieve a part that is misbehaving or no longer of use to the handlers. The "spider" will drag the part back to the web and make sure they stay "trapped" there until further commands are given.
Spin: Meant to spread pain, painful emotions, and/or other feelings or urges throughout the system. Alters dubbed "spinners", "cyclones", or some synonym thereof will often be the source of the sensation. May be accompanied by actually feeling as though one is spinning, the room is spinning, et cetera.
Theta: Religious programming, can also tie in with Gamma and many other kinds of programming. Tends to revolve around rituals, and alters created for those purposes.
Vigilante: Subject is informed that they are alone in the world. They cannot trust anyone, and must take care of their problems themselves. They are trained to be reliable and responsible, and be willing to do anything to protect themselves / those they care about. Subject is trained not to fear breaking the law and/or severely injuring/killing others in order to get what they want. May be tied into military, delta, zeta, or scripts.
Zeta: Programming to view horrific death, torture of others, torture of the self, etc as normal parts of life. Serves to confuse the victim, or make them seem insane to those around them once they get out.

Alice in Wonderland (AiW)
A type of programming that utilizes imagery, characters, and concepts from Alice in Wonderland. This can be used to map out a system/headspace, create alters, or to create a lack of distinction between dreams/imagination and reality. The White Rabbit is a prominent figure in this type of programming, as he represents the programmer or handler. This allows him access to deeper parts of the system. Code words/programming triggers for this type of programming are often quotes from the book.
Disney Princess Movies
A form of programming that makes the survivor believe they are a helpless princess in need of rescue. Commonly used along with Beta. This can also be used with a myriad of other programs, such as Narco for Sleeping Beauty.
Narnia
Wizard of Oz (WoZ)
Similar to Alice In Wonderland programming, this type involves the imagery, concepts, characters and events in the book/movie The Wizard of Oz. This tends to be a method of creating unquestioning followers of the group ("Following the Yellow Brick Road") as well as to instill a sense of fear.
Historical Event Scripts
Hosts: Alters who front the most often. Life-living alters, who front when nothing is particularly needed.
Protectors: Alters who protect the system from harm.
Persecutors: Misguided protectors, who end up doing more harm than good. They tend to create issues within the system.
Programmed Alters: Alters with programming. These are alters that split for the purpose of their abusers, as a result of RAMCOA related abuse.
Color Alters: Alters who heavily identify or are forced to identify with a color assigned by the abusers.
Religious Alters: Alters who find comfort in religion, and practice it to the best of their ability as a role.
Shell Alters: Alters through which other alters front. Commonly have no sense of identity on their own, but this can change as they start healing.
Handlers (Internal): Alters who are programmed to serve as an internal handler or programmer to another alter. Oftentimes these alters are introjects of external handlers.
In the face of such horrible atrocities, it is likely that some people will not want to sit on the sidelines while such abuse occurs elsewhere in the world. While nobody can truly define what always helps a survivor, there are a few ways to help the survivor feel less alone.
If a survivor trusts you enough to tell you that they are a victim of RAMCOA, do not discredit them. It's better to believe someone who is lying than to deny someone who may actually be calling out for help. The nature of the programming utilized in RAMCOA is intended to be purposefully farfetched, as a means of making the victim seem "crazy" or "delusional."
Do NOT try to deprogram someone on your own. Complete, proper deprogramming must be done by a professional. If one attempts to deprogram a victim on their own without proper knowledge and training, they could cause irreversible damage to the victim. This could pose a danger to both the victim and to the person attempting to deprogram them.
Do NOT pry for information. RAMCOA victims have been through unspeakable horrors. While it can be tempting to want to truly understand all of it, any discussions of past trauma should always be on the victim's terms. They will tell you what they are comfortable sharing, and it is not your job to attempt to dictate where that line is.
Known Dates/Important Dates
White Supremacist / Nazi Dates (commonly tied w/ Jewish dates)
sourced from this link
Most of the trigger dates for survivors of Nazi-based abuse correspond to dates important in World War II history – births and deaths of Nazi leaders, important battles won or lost, political happenings, etc. Other dates were chosen by Hitler himself. Hitler wished to eradicate any public religious observances or holidays and to replace them with a winter and summer holiday and lesser spring and fall holidays corresponding to the equinoxes and solstices.
Individual groups may celebrate certain dates more strongly than other ones and may also add in their own dates, such as the leader's birthday, the date of the founding of the group, the death of an important member, etc.
January 12: Birth of both Rosenburg and Goering, Nazi leaders in World War II.
January 30: Hitler named Chancellor of Germany.
February 14 (may be 15 or 16): I am not sure of the reason behind this one, but some Nazi-programmed survivors report being very triggered on this day.
Late Feb/Early March: Ash Wednesday, beginning of Lent, the pre-Easter season (see Easter).
Late March/April: Palm Sunday, week before Easter.
April 20: Hitler's birthday.
Late March/April: Maundy Thursday, Good (black) Friday, Easter. The year Hitler was born, his birth fell directly on Easter, so Easter and associated days are associated with Hitler.
April 30: Anniversary of Hitler's death, associated with May Day, the next day.
May 1: May Day/Beltane, one of the dates Hitler proposed to set up as a holiday. Hitler wished to wipe out various religious holidays and replace them with solar-year based celebrations and dates commemorating Nazi achievements.
June 6: D-Day. Any Allied victory or Nazi defeat in World War II is used as a day to renew loyalty to the Nazi cause. Nazi youth are given various trials and punishments designed to make them stronger, and people the Nazis perceive as the enemy are punished. The particular dates emphasized vary from group to group.
June 21 or 22: Summer Solstice, another proposed solar holiday.
July 29: Hitler proclaimed leader of the Nazi party.
Early August through October: Various preparations are done in readiness for October, the month with the largest number of celebrated dates.
September 21/22: autumnal equinox, “Fall Festival.”
Late September through early October: Six months from Easter. Hitler’s “half birthday” is often commemorated. Ceremonies are similar to those on Easter. This date usually starts the October observances.
October 16: Death of Rosenburg, a leader in World War II. Many Nazi leaders were captured and scheduled for trial in late September and early October. Most of them killed themselves prior to trial.
October 19: Death of Hermann Goering, a Nazi leader.
October 31 and November 1: All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day, thought to be significant in some esoteric traditions.
November 9: Beer hall Putsch rebellion, the date Hitler declared the Nazi party the leaders of Germany. A few years later, in 1938, Krystalnacht, (the "Night of Broken Glass") happened on this date.
Late November through early December: Beginning of Advent. Hitler wished to wipe out all religious holidays and replace them with his own. Christmas and associated days became a target of this attempt and are associated with bizarre, mocking rituals.
December 21/22: Winter Solstice, the solar winter holiday Hitler wished to implement in place of Christmas.
December 24/25: Christmas.
Other observed dates vary from group to group. They may commemorate group leaders’ birthdays or death days, for example.
Hitler also devised ceremonies meant to eventually replace Christian rituals in the New Order. For example, Naming Rites were to replace Christian baptism.
Dates with repeating numbers were very important to the Nazis. For example, 06-06 (June 6); 09-09 (September 9); 9-9-99 is even more important because the year follows the pattern.
The number “8” is used as a code or anagram for Hitler, because H is the eighth letter of the alphabet. The date August 8 (8-8) is often a triggering day for Nazi/Neo-Nazi survivors and is used by some groups as the “kick-off” to the fall series of rituals, building through the anniversaries of important Nazi dates through September and October and finishing with Krystalnacht, November 9.
